PANORAMA RACLAWICKA

Panorama Raclawicka is one of not many places in the
world when one can admire XIX c. relict of mass culture.
It is a great painting which sizes are 15 * 114 m, thanks
to mixture of particular painting endeavours (like special
perspective) and technical (lighting, artificial area),
takes a tourist to a different reality. The painting
shows battle in Rac³awice that took place on the 4th
of April 1794, between Polish insurgents and Russian
Tsar's army. The commander of Polish army was Tadeusz
Kosciuszko, the hero of Polish and American battles
for independence.

PEOPLE'S HALL (HALA LUDOWA)
The Hall was built in 1913 and was one of the first
reinforced concrete constructions in Europe. It is covered
by a large dome that is 65m in diameter and may house
20 thousand people.

SZCZYTNICKI PARK (PARK SZCZYTNICKI)
Park that covers an area of 100 hectare. It is one
of the biggest parks in Wroc³aw it is interesting because
of its composition. In particular, worth seeing is the
Japanese Garden, designed according to the rules of
Japan gardening art.
