Zakopane
is a winter capital of Poland. Just here in the winter
time come the enthusiasts of skiing. Although Zakopane
is not exclusive spa like in Alps but its infrastructure
develops year by year. Zakopane offers several slopes
from those of slight and steep inclinations what enables
skiing of people with different advance. The snow covers
the mountains from November till May.
BUFOROWY WIERCH
This is a T-bar lift, of not big inclination of the
slope (the difference between levels is 27 m). It has
snow cannons; for the beginners and pre-intermediate
skiers.
GUBAŁÓWKA
This is a hill to which one can get quickly by cable
car, T-bar lift or other kinds of ski lifts. It has
rather an average inclination of a slope. It also has
snow cannons, artificial lighting, halfpipe to snowboard
also for the beginners and intermediate skiers.
KASPROWY WIERCH
This is also a hill; to get there one should use a cable
car, chairlift for two and more people. In a winter
time it is a slope for intermediate and upper - intermediate
skiers. It also has snow cannons. The length of downhill
drive I about 6000m.
KOZINIEC
This is a name of another T -bar lift but only for one
person. Different inclination of the slope. The difference
between levels - about 22m. It has snow cannons, artificial
lightning; accessible for the beginners and advanced
skiers.
