Making
a decision to travel in Poland by a car or a motorcycle
such a trip could be more interesting but also more
risky. Foreigners may encounter road conditions that
differ considerably from those in Western Europe. Roads
are generally narrow, badly kept, frequently under repair
(especially in the summer months). Travellers shouldn't
expect fast motorways because in Poland there is less
than 400 km of motorways. If you want to drive to the
German border or from/to big cities, like Warsaw - Poznań
or Warsaw - Krakow, mostly you will find two - lane
highways.
