Warsaw's
Okecie airport is the main domestic and international
airport in Poland. The Okecie Airport claims to be the
most modern and safe airport in Central Europe and offers
all sorts of useful services (car rental, travel agencies,
a post office, a bank, restaurants, and shops). Other
domestic airports including Gdansk, Krakow, Katowice,
Poznan, and Wroclaw from which passengers can also fly
to European major cities. Most airports are at a distance
between 10 - 20 km from city centers
The main carrier in the country is Polskie Linie Lotnicze
LOT (www.lot.com).
It offers regular connections to 49 cities in 28 countries.
Except for the LOT, many other airlines offer flights
to Poland: Aeroflot, Air France, Alitalia, American
Airlines, British Airways, Finnair, Lufthansa, Swissair,
SAS. New cheap airlines offer cheap airfares are: Wizzair,
SkyEurope, CentralWings.
